Module 1. Writing (report and essay)
In this module, we are going to learn to write a response which is appropriate in terms of content, the organisation of ideas, and the accuracy and range of vocabulary and grammar.
The Writing test takes 60 minutes. There are two tasks to complete.
Task 1: It is suggested that about 20 minutes is spent on Task 1, which requires candidates to write at least 150 words.
Task 2: This task requires at least 250 words and should take about 40 minutes. Task 2 contributes twice as much as Task 1 to the Writing score.

Module 2. Speaking
In this module, we are going to address your pronunciation, fluency, grammar and vocabulary.
FIY: IELTS Speaking is a face-to-face, informal discussion with an IELTS examiner, and is the same for both Academic and General Training. The test is divided into 3 parts that include a personal interview and a topic discussion. The Speaking test is 11-14 minutes long.
Part 1 - You will answer questions about yourself and your family.
Part 2 - You will speak about a topic.
Part 3 - You will have a longer discussion about the topic introduced in Part 2.

Module 3. Reading
In this module, we are going to learn strategies for fast-reading, note-taking and paragraph analysis.

FIY: Reading is the second part of the IELTS test, and takes 60 minutes. It consists of three or sometimes four reading passages of increasing difficulty, and there is a total of 40 questions to answer. The topics of reading passages may vary from academic articles to art, culture, and history-related texts.
Module 4. Listening
In this module, we are going to practice active listening, note-taking, and shifting focus between specific information and general topics.

FIY: The IELTS Listening test will take about 30 minutes, and you will have an extra 10 minutes to transfer your answers to the answer sheet. There are 40 questions altogether. Each question carries one mark.
Module 5. Extra exam practice
In this module, we are going to practice and polish test-taking and discuss topics of your choice.

I actually got a 6.5 in average, which is exactly what I needed for most schools - that's amazing! The course was helpful and well-structured. Tanya and Helen are professional trainers. They gave me the tools I needed to push my English skills to a new level in only two months’ time. I was so happy to achieve the score I needed on my first test. Thanks a lot for your patience and all the great materials.

The course provided all the necessary information about the test structure and enough materials for self-study. Trainers, Tanya and Helen, were very informative and responsive to any questions I asked. Talking about the test, it was very cumbersome and difficult but surprisingly I got a 7 overall, and even 7.5 in Speaking! I enjoyed the course very much. Tanya is a great and motivated tutor that focuses on students’ success! Highly recommended.
